BCA MEMO – Release of the All Africa Under 19 Championships 2026 Prospectus and Associated Forms

BCA is pleased to release the attached Prospectus and associated forms for the All Africa Under 19 Championships 2026, which will be hosted by the Egyptian Badminton Federation from 27 September to 3 October 2026 at the Cairo Stadium Indoor Hall in Cairo, Egypt.

The Championships will comprise:

• Junior Mixed Team Championships: 27–29 September 2026
• Junior Individual Championships: 30 September–3 October 2026

A training camp for participating Under 19 players will be held from 25 to 26 September 2026, before the start of the Championships. Participating delegations must arrive in Cairo no later than Thursday, 24 September 2026.

Withdrawal Deadline for the Individual Event:
Monday, 21 September 2026

Please note that no late entries will be accepted.

Eligibility and BCA Support

Only players born in 2008 or later are eligible to participate.

To qualify for BCA financial support, a Member Association must:

• Enter a Mixed Team comprising at least two male and two female players; and
• Ensure that its players participate in the pre-Championships training camp.

Eligible participating teams will receive financial assistance towards accommodation and/or travel. The amount of support will be communicated after the entry deadline.

Submission of Associated Forms

All duly completed forms should be submitted to the organisers at africau19@egbadminton.com by the following deadlines:

• Visa Application Form and passport copies: Friday, 21 August 2026
• Accommodation Form: Friday, 28 August 2026
• Airport Transfer Form: Friday, 28 August 2026
• Accreditation Form: Friday, 11 September 2026

Member Associations are kindly requested to carefully review the attached Prospectus and ensure that all entries and forms are submitted within the prescribed deadlines.
