Methodology
The training was conducted through both theoretical and practical sessions, led by certified Shuttle Time trainers.
Participants were trained on:
- Basic badminton technique
- Teaching methodologies adapted to school environments
- Integration of badminton into the educational system
Response and Impact
Participants showed strong engagement and expressed high satisfaction with the quality of the training. Seventeen new tutors from the six educational regions of Togo were trained. The activity helped strengthen the national network of trainers while ensuring progressive adaptation of badminton teaching in schools.
Takassi Kikpa Tikoyabe, President of Togolese Badminton Federation, said: “Shuttle Time is a key driver for the development of badminton in Togo. It enables the training of educators who can effectively pass on badminton skills and values to the younger generation.”
